Art Around the world!

Date: March 12th – 16th , 2018
Time: From 9am to 4pm
Price: $300 for the full week.

You can mail in your registration form and a cheque or drop it off at the Monart Art School.

We use various materials, provide step-by-step instruction as well as lots of room for imagination.

• There are snack breaks and lunch throughout the day as well as play & physical activity. Parents only need to provide 2 small snacks and one lunch for the day. We are a peanut-free school.

• Camps are limited to 12 campers and fill up quickly. Space will be reserved according to date of registration provided that tuition is received in full. March Break Camp tuition is payable upon registration. We cannot hold space without payment.

• Tuition is refundable with written notification by these dates: January 4th 2018= 100%, and January 15th 2018= 50%. No refunds issued after January 30th 2018. We reserve the right to refuse enrollment as necessary. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Students who cannot comply will not be allowed to continue, and any remaining tuition will be non-refundable.

• On the last day of camp (Friday) we will have a mini art show. We display all the work the students have done for the week and celebrate new friends. The mini art show will begin during the last 15 minutes of class on Fridays. Parents, grandparents and friends are welcome to attend.

Mexico & Peru

We will be exploring Mexican villages, plants and wildlife. Through arts and crafts, we will learn about the amazing history of Mexico.
Up in the Andes we will visit Peru and we will meet the famous llamas and see Machu Picchu.

India
March 14 2018
This vast land has much to offer for young artist. Henna tattoo painting, elephants, mandalas, the Taj-Mahal, and colourful peacocks offer wonderful inspiration to create amazing masterpieces.

Japan and Russia

March 15 2018
Japanese decorations, oriental paper fans, Koi fish painting and ancient Japanese Towers known as Pagodas, will be the inspiration for the projects as we take a trip across the Pacific.
Take a trip to the Mother Land and visit the Red Square in Moscow, Onion Domed churches and the beautiful colours of this enormous and proud country.

Canada
March 16, 2018
Take a trip through Canada’s backyard, we will create and learn about Totem Poles, build a Inuksuk, the Northern Lights, dream catchers, Orca whales and more.
