Sunday Figure Drawing Open to the Public
The Monart Art School of Ottawa is pleased to open a limited number of seats to the public in the Sunday Figure Drawing program - a popular component of
the atelier curriculum!
Learn the art of figure drawing using our step-by-step method. Beginner and advanced students will benefit from this drawing workshop. Students will be working directly from the nude using charcoal or carbon pencil.
The instructor will teach you the basics of gesture, proportion, and morphology, finally finishing with big and small form modelling. The end effect is a dramatic three dimensional figure.
The two long poses in this workshop will last for 6 sessions each.
For more information on the 2012 Sunday Figure Drawing program's schedule, course supplies and cost, please consult the fine art workshops section of this site.
