2007 – 2008 Open Studio Dates and Official Holidays
Welcome back to the new school year which will run from September 4th, 2007 until June 28th, 2008 This year we have made a number of small administrative changes which we hope will lower the paper work burden of the school. The major change is in the make-up policy
of the school.
This year we will be offering instruction for only a maximum of 4 lessons each month. The occasional 5th lesson class will have no instruction
and will be an Open Studio. During an Open Studio class, children can complete work from a previous class or do a make-up for a previously missed class. These will be the only make-ups offered for missed classes. In order to attend an Open Studio you must inform Vicky in advance that you or your child will be coming.
For this teaching year the following dates are the Open Studio dates.
- October 30 and 31, 2007
- November 29 and 30, 2007
- February 29, 2008
- March 29, 2008
- April 29 and 30, 2008
- May 29 and 30, 2008
Official holidays on which the school will be closed occur this year as follows:
October 8th, 2007 **
December 22nd, 2007 until January 3rd, 2008
March 21st and 24th, 2008 **
Holidays marked ** may be “made-up” at any of the Open Studios. The Christmas holiday closure is reflected in lower billing for the month of December.
